Therefore its not like its a matter of time untill they solve the problem for me thats why I decided to seek help here. I had searched the forums for people with similar problems, but only found a handfull of other users with similar problems. I dont know if this is all the usefull information a debbuger can give me and what I can do with that now that I know that the crash was probably caused by ati3duag.dll.īefore all this started, I searched for help on the official forums of the Spore game, creating this topic there: "Probably caused by : ati3duag.dll ( ati3duag+11a5c8 )"Įven this doesnt help me much. I got the Debugging Tools for Windows (x86) and eventually learned how to open the file. The last thing I did was try to debug those dump files to see if I could get any more information that might lead to solving the problem. I also attached the dxdiag.txt with all the information about my computer specifications/drivers. I attached to this post all the MiniDumps I got from all my attempts to go through that specific part of the game. I received a message saying a dump file would be created on c:\Windows\MiniDump

There I found the multiple occurences of the same error (when the computer restarts).Įrror code 1000007f, parameter1 0000000d, parameter2 00000000, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 00000000.
I got the Blue Screen and learned how to view the error log on windowns going to Control Panel> Administration Tools> Event Viewer> System. So I searched for information and discovered how to turn off Restart so I could get a Blue Screen with a BCCode. It happened one time, I tried again, it rebooted my computer again, so I tried to by pass the problem by starting a new game, using someone elses save game and it happened again. Computer reboots always at the same point in a game (start of Creature phase in Spore) when its starting/trying to process an introdutory movie/animation.
